The WildTop Truck Cap is extremely lightweight weighing less than 44 lbs and lowers vehicle GVM to carry more.
Can i drive with the sides rolled up?
Yes! in 2024 we upgraded the magnets used in the straps that hold up the sides of the cap to allow users to drive with the sides rolled up.

We currently do not offer phone support - instead, we offer prompt email support and live chat. We do this for a few reasons, which we're happy to share here. Firstly, when we used to offer phone support, these queries represented a relatively small number of enquiries but they could be quite time-consuming. What tools do I need to install?
As a general guide for the majority of our products you will require a drill, pop rivet gun, 4mm drill bit, pencil and tape measure, however this may vary with different models. For exact requirements, see the fitting instructions available on each product page.
How do I correctly close my tailgate with the WildTop Installed?
Key Steps for Proper Tailgate Closure With WildTop Cover Installed:We’d like to share the correct method for opening your tailgate and ensuring the long-lasting durability and waterproof performance of your cover.
- Unzip the canvas and lift it up out of the way before opening the tailgate. You can either roll it up and secure it using the provided straps or unzip it enough so it won’t get caught in the tailgate.
- Carefully close the tailgate, ensuring the canvas is not obstructing the closure.
- Rezip the canvas after closing the tailgate to create a tight, waterproof seal.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Your order will be dispatched within 5 business days after your payment has been cleared. Please note our products are shipped from Victoria, Australia and will be shipped via priority air freight and therefore delivery can take between 4 to 6 business days, depending upon your location.

What is your returns policy?
We offer free returns for 30 days from the date you receive your order. You can return the product to us as long as it is in its original condition, complete with its fitting kit. We may ask you why you want to return it as your feedback will allow us to further improve our systems and processes.

How long until I get my money back after I have returned an item?
We will issue your refund after we have received the item back into our warehouse.

How long is the warranty and what does it cover?
We offer a 2 year warranty against manufacturing and material faults under normal use. Under this warranty, if a product is wrongly described, faulty or damaged, you may choose between a replacement or refund. Under these circumstances WildTop will pay all of the return freight charges. This does not cover damaged items resulting from abuse, misuse, alteration, accident, damage in transit. Please note that items will need to be returned in their original condition in terms of both the product and its packaging. Package was lost by FedEx who was very much not interested in offering assistance. Customer service at WildTop went above and beyond to get answers and ensure the package was located and delivered.
They have proved that their customer service is as top notch as their product and engineering.

Overall, very pleased. Would have been good to get more details prior to purchase. There are some finish issues on some of the square tubing and there were some sharp edges that I needed to file down. The instructions have mistakes.
I never recommend products to friends or family regardless of what I feel about the product, this is a stupid question.
Don't understand warranty question. Value?

I give this product 5 stars because of the overall design and quality, with no Con that I found. I have mine installed on a 5ft truck bed and the crossbar that sit on top of the softtop frame are still too far apart for nearly all roof top tent brackets. Not all of us want to have our RTT perpendicular to our cars so the North and South Bars aren't a great solution.

I was thrilled to find this top. A soft top with roof top carrying capacity. Fairly easy to assemble and install. I did pull one rookie mistake and had to back up a couple steps. It’s well built and should last a good long time. Well worth the money I spent on it.
